Japanese Shorthorn are one of 4 Wagyu “breeds” in Japan, but none of the Japanese Shorthorn were ever exported from Japan. Therefore, the Japanese Shorthorn is not available outside Japan, and Japan, in 2000, banned all exports of Wagyu animals and genetics, so it is not possible to acquire Japanese Shorthorn genetics unless you are a resident of Japan and plan on keeping the animals in Japan.
