From time to time we hold online live auctions for frozen semen, frozen genetics and animals. Our auctions are always started at an extremely low price relative to our perception of market value, and never have a reserve price, meaning the sale will be completed and the buyer will buy the auction item no matter how low the price!
All auctions are the simple “start low and go higher with a bid amount increment” type, and the time at which the auction ends will always be extended by two to five minutes in the case of a last-minute bid, to ensure that all interested parties are able to bid.
